About Lynn Weimer:
Lynn Weimar, MSN, has a passion and mission to transform the lives of women beyond fifty who struggle with emotional eating, food addictions, and obesity.
Having struggled with similar issues herself, she has combined her previous healing process and mindset work with her experience as an RN and research as an MSN to bring hope and freedom to people of all ages.
From a place of despair and hopelessness, Lynn has risen to the point where she now competes in Ironman triathlons, has started her own business, and is absolutely in love with her life.
Lynn is the founder of Be Fit Beyond Fifty and author of Be Free Beyond Fifty.

Lynn discusses her abrupt transition into midlife after leaving a 30-year marriage. She found herself as a single mom, working a low-paying job, and struggling to care for her own health and wellbeing amidst the stress and challenges. This led to weight gain and a sense of feeling cast aside and irrelevant as an older woman.
Lynn explains how the feelings of worthlessness and loss of identity during midlife can drive women to use food for emotional comfort and coping. She shares how cutting out sugar and processed foods, and instead focusing on whole, nutrient-dense foods, was transformative for regaining her energy, vitality, and sense of self-worth.
Lynn emphasizes the importance of cultivating a positive mindset and vision for the future, rather than getting caught up in short-term cravings. She recommends making small, sustainable changes that gradually reprogram the brain and taste preferences. Incorporating joyful physical activity is also key for boosting energy and confidence.
Lynn shares how she went from a state of hopelessness and wishing for her life to end, to now competing in Iron Man triathlons and feeling healthier, stronger, and more joyful than ever before. She is passionate about helping other women over 50 experience a similar transformation through her coaching and resources.
