In this blog, we are going to talk about sneaky names for sugar and how to spot a blood sugar spike from a mile away!

Sugar is such a huge thing when it comes to the way we eat. There is hidden sugar everywhere, and it gets confusing when it comes to trying to read labels and figure out what some of those names mean on labels.

I get it. I would often think I was eating something healthy because the label would say “natural” or only “xx gms. of sugar.” One thing I learned the hard way was those “sugars” or “sugar alcohols” on the back of those labels were not so great for me! Most of those times, the “sugar alcohol” caused me a vicious belly ache and discomfort for hours.

That is no way to live, so I want to dive in today to some information that will really help you to better understand what to be looking for and what to avoid when it comes to shopping so that you can stay healthy and eat less sugar. Plus, I am going to give you another delicious recipe to help you eat sweets the healthy way!
