Before doing my cleanse, I felt heavy and bloated. Even though I didn’t have a lot of weight to lose, I didn’t ‘feel healthy.’ My motivation for cleansing included reducing toxins, clearer skin and having more energy.

Overall, I loved the recipes and found the program easy to follow.  Refining some food choices by eliminating my top-allergens and replacing my caffeinated tea with herbal tea made a big difference for me. Having a ‘plan’ worked well too – it took the meal planning and time spent thinking about food out of the equation which was a wonderful benefit of Lynne’s program.

Before the detox, I was feeling a little overweight and bloated. As I started the detox, I did experience fatigue as my body adjusted to less sugar and carbs and the elimination of foods that were allergens to my body.  With a variety of healthful options I was never hungry and I began to feel healthier overall.

 I felt I could always contact Lynne with questions and the group calls were informative and supportive.  I learned valuable toxin reduction and wellness tips that I still use today along with the benefits of lemon water first thing in the morning. I would recommend the detox to anyone that needs some motivation for eating healthier and feeling better.

Since starting your University of South Florida OLLI class with you, I’ve stopped drinking Crystallite, even though I added double water amount and switched my ‘pinkies’ sweet & low type sweetener to Stevia drops.   After just one week, I noticed less belly bloating and water weight.  I also switched to the pink Himalayan salt as I was using the 50% Lite salt and have added a ‘smoothie’ kind of drink for a snack/pick me up using sugar free coconut milk/sugar free Greek yogurt/banana/super greens mix and now adding turmeric.  I’m so excited to try your new recipe suggestions. Today I’m making steamed sweet potato and fresh cauliflower (mash) to accompany fresh salmon.  Tomorrow, I’m roasting eggplant with red onion, parsnips and baby purple.  Your class has inspired me in the kitchen.

 With just these few classes, you’ve had a positive effect on my food plan! You’ve also made me more aware of how to read labels and to be more conscious of what I am putting into my body.

 I am not perfect with eliminating everything, but increasing veggies/different styles of cooking, drinking more plain water with lemon/limes has moved me giant leaps along my health journey and I keep making baby steps forward.

Lynne Wadsworth has been my health coach since February, 2020 and I’m happy to say, I’ve lost 16 lbs.  I’m wearing clothes that’ve been stuck in the back of the closet for years and doing a happy dance! To be completely honest, there’ve been times when I haven’t been as positive as I need to keep on track. Lynne’s email reinforcing WHY I’m on this path couldn’t have been more perfectly timed. And today, she helped me recognize that I’ve made a positive behavior change. Wine or biking? Biking won! As I was angrily pedaling away……I realized my anger was being pedaled away…. The Green Smoothie Challenge was awesome!  I had my doubts about liking them yet resigned myself to give it a try. I was more than pleasantly surprised with how delicious yours are!

I’ve just completed my second week and can’t imagine a day without one. My pants are loose, which is a fantastic surprise but the greatest benefit has been the change in my heating habits. I feel in control, energized and happy. I’m much more conscious of what I eat and I love the nutritional kick start each morning. Thank you, Lynne, for the daily smoothie recipes and for offering this fun challenge.
