Before the detox, I was feeling a little overweight and bloated. As I started the detox, my body felt tired from giving up sugar and carbs. But as the detox continued, I felt healthier overall.
The detox was helpful in identifying foods that were allergens to my body and I continued not eating the allergens after the detox was over. There were a variety of foods to choose from during the detox so I was not hungry.

I felt I could always contact Lynne with questions and the group calls were good as I could connect with others going through the same thing.

I learned some toxin reduction and wellness tips that I still am using today including drinking lemon water first thing in the morning. I would recommend the detox to anyone that needs some motivation for eating healthier and feeling better.

Before doing my cleanse, I felt heavy. Not a lot of weight to lose, but I didn’t have that ‘light’ feeling. I was often bloated and was definitely looking to reduce that. While I completely buy in to all the reasons for doing a cleanse (reduce toxins, more energy, clearer skin, etc.), my top motivation was definitely weight loss.

During the detox, I felt a little restricted at times. If I got really hungry because I failed to plan ahead, it was hard to not just grab almonds or other easy things I would’ve in the past. Overall, I loved the recipes and felt really good. I definitely had that ‘lighter’ feeling I was going for.

As long as I planned for the day ahead of time, I did find it easy. I did not eat processed foods or any junk before-hand, so it was really just refining some food choices by taking out top-allergen foods and replacing my caffeinated tea with herbal tea. I really liked having a ‘plan!’ It took the meal planning and time spent thinking about food out of the equation.

I felt amazing after I finished the detox. Clear-headed, lighter, and definitely proud of myself for completing it.

Benefits – lost about 2 pounds, felt more energy throughout the day, my skin was clearer. I also loved trying new recipes and eating foods I hadn’t bought or prepared that way before.

I 100% believe in the power of cleansing seasonally, to clear out the junk and start fresh. It’s a great re-set and I learn more about myself every time I do one.

Since starting the OLLI class (with the University of South Florida) with you, I have stopped drinking Crystalight, even though I added double water amount – decreased the amount of ‘pinkies’ sweet & low type sweetener in my coffee and tea and adding liquid Stevia drops and after one week I started to drop the belly bloating and water weight (did not care for granulated stevia) – and I switched to the pink Himalayan salt as I was using the 50% Lite salt but with reading labels, it has added ‘stuff’ – and have added a ‘smoothie’ kind of drink for a snack/pick me up using sugar free coconut milk/sugar free Greek yogurt/banana/super greens mix and now adding turmeric (using organic powdered to start with). Today I am making steamed sweet potato and fresh cauliflower (mash) to go with a piece of fresh salmon I had in the freezer (bought fresh initially) and tomorrow, roasting eggplant with red onion, parsnips and baby purple potatoes to keep on hand for a change of veggie.

Also, recently used some cannelli beans with pasta and with the leftover beans I mashed them and added to low fat ground turkey with some seasonings/egg and made turkey/bean burgers (put few in freezer). So, with just these few classes, you have made a big impact on my food plan which I was needing, and you have made me more alert to what is on labels and what I am putting into my body. I am not perfect with eliminating everything, but increasing veggies/different styles of cooking, drinking more plain water with lemon/limes (I have reverse osmosis water) and have taken for me a couple big steps and still making baby steps.

And, with now making the smoothie, using something in my cabinet that has not been used much. Quite a while ago I gave my blender to my son as he was having oral surgery kind of thing and had to go on a liquid diet for a week, and in turn I picked up the Ninja 3 piece mixer/chopper/blender kind of set up where you put the power source on top of the unit you are using. So, I have started using this again and so easy to make the smoothie and the blades come out and much easier to clean than a standard blender.

Thanks again for taking the time to share your knowledge with us.

Today as I was taking my 14 mile bike ride, I thought of you Lynne. I want to Thank you for all of your support. There have been times if you were not my accountability, I would not be continuing to make the progress I am. I know working with me can be challenging. I don’t always do what you want me to. But thank God that YOU ALWAYS DO WHAT I NEED YOU TOO. You are a wonderful health coach and friend.

Lynne Wadsworth has been my health coach since Feb. 25. I have lost 16 lbs, I am wearing some clothes that have been stuck in the back of the closet for awhile! There have been a few times when I haven’t been as positive as I need to keep on track. The first time I got an email from Lynne reinforcing WHY I am on this path. And today, she brought to my attention that I had made a positive behavior change. Wine or biking? Biking won! As I was angrily pedaling away……I realized my anger was being pedaled away…. I love endorphines I don’t think wine has them.

Thank you for your support! Making the eating and exercising changes over the last month have been easier knowing that you’re there to continue to encourage and help me. I have lost 9 pounds and feel so much better. Scheduling the exercise into my life has helped insure that I do it. I feel much healthier physically and mentally.

Lynne,

I want to thank you for taking the time to help me. You have been a wealth of knowledge when it has come to helping with my migraines and eating better.

The healthy snacks that you have suggested as well as increasing my water intake have really helped to curve my appetite in between meals.

Also I can’t wait to try the different smoothies that you’ve suggested and will most definitely be making them once school starts as my breakfast in the morning. From eating healthier through the suggestions you have given and adding exercise into my diet I am now down to 167 from 175 in 2 months time.

Your suggestions for migraines have really helped as I haven’t had any recently. If you remember I was getting them several times during the month. The doterra oils you recommended have really helped as well as watching what I put in my body like you suggested.

I am so glad that I found you and love that you take the Holistic approach instead of trying to get me to take a bunch of pills! I will definitely be recommending you to friends and family and will be putting your cards in the teacher’s lounge at school.

Thank you for all that you have done,

I am a 39 years old female with a healthy weight but as I get older, I am finding it harder and harder to maintain my goal weight. Lynne is very motivating. She follows up with me on a regular basis to make sure I am staying on track. She is never judgmental and is always understanding. When I come to her with a difficult question, she is always willing to research the answer and get back with me. I trust Lynne explicitly and have recommended her to many people. I am grateful for having her.

I attended a Natural Migraine Remedies seminar held by Holistic Health & Wellness and found it to be very informative.  I had no idea there were so many kinds of migraines!  I learned a lot about migraine triggers and solutions, as well as daily lifestyle changes that can help to avoid migraines. I have known Lynne Wadsworth for many years and know she has a passion for what she is doing. I highly recommend her program to anyone suffering with migraine headaches, and trust her completely to be of great help those who seek out her expertise.

The Green Smoothie Challenge was awesome.  I had my doubts about liking them yet resigned myself to give it a try. I was more than pleasantly surprised to find out how delicious they are!

I’ve just completed my second week and can’t imagine a day without one. My pants are loose, which I hadn’t expected, but the greatest benefit is the change in my overall eating.

I am much more conscious of what I eat and I love the nutritional kick start each morning.

Thank you for the daily smoothie recipes and for offering this fun challenge.
